I heart Faces - Motherhood

I had the hardest time choosing which photo to enter.  I had so many beautiful, intimate shots of mothers with their children.  In the end, I decided to go with the picture that was most unique.  Now I can't take all the credit for it.  My husband actually took the picture, I did the editing.  This picture is of me with my little girl.  We are decorating a Traditional King Cake for Mardi Gras, and having a blast together!!!  While I love our intimate moments, and will miss them terribly when she gets too old to crawl in my lap.  I take much comfort in knowing that we will she will NEVER be too old to have fun with me.  I pray our bond stays strong!

Meet Emma...{New Orleans, LA Northshore - Newborn and Family Photographer}

This sweet baby girl was born on St. Patrick's Day!  She is loved by so many, especially mom and big sister.  These photos are so sweet and tender, you can almost feel the warmth in their spirits.  Thank you Bertucci Family for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives.  Congratulations on your precious new gift from God!

What is softer and sweeter than baby chicks?  Not much.  And this little girl was mesmerized.  Her eyes say it all, and the chicks were such good sports to stand there nicely and pose :)

I Heart Faces - Wind

This is from a very recent photo shoot.  There is nothing like standing on the beach, with the wind blowing through your hair.  However, little C, was hungry!  He did not care anything about the beach at that point.  He only wanted food.  Sometimes the most imperfect pictures are the best.  What a fun memory this will be for this sweet family!

"Pics with Chicks" Mini-Sessions

For my second Spring mini-sessions, I got CHICKS!!!  While some chose not to use them for their pictures, EVERYONE enjoyed watching them and holding them.  These poor little chicks got a run for their money on this day, but they all held up like champs and are still doing great.

I am loving all the big families I have gotten to photograph lately, and this family is no exception.  They were all so sweet and cooperative.  Not to mention, they had a couple of divas on their hands.  Thank you Gant family for allowing me to capture some special memories for you!

I had the opportunity of taking pictures of Mr. C when he was only 6 weeks old.  This time, he brought the whole family along.  I have to say, the other members of the family are just as sweet as he is.  I loved spending time with them.  They made my job easy :)
